Nick Senzel records two runs, RBI versus Arizona

Cincinnati defeated Arizona, 9-6, on Friday at Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Former Vol Nick Senzel started in center field for the Reds. He went 0-for-2, scoring two runs and recording one RBI against the Diamondbacks.

Senzel played for the Vols from 2014-16, earning All-Southeastern Conference and All-America honors.

The former Vol was selected by the Reds in the first round of the 2016 MLB draft with the No. 2 overall pick. Senzel came to the Vols from Farragut High School in Farragut, Tennessee.

Cincinnati will next play Saturday against the Diamondbacks. First pitch is slated for 4:10 p.m. EDT at Great American Ballpark.
