Who is the highest-paid running back in the NFL?

The San Francisco 49ers' Christian McCaffrey is currently the highest-paid running back in the NFL, with an average annual salary of $16.02 million.

His current contract has a total value of $64 million, with a total guaranteed amount of over $36 million.

McCaffrey has company on the list of the top-paid running backs in the NFL.

The New Orleans Saints' Alvin Kamara is second among the highest-paid NFL RBs with an average salary of $15 million per year. He's followed by the Indianapolis Colts' Jonathan Taylor, at $14 million.

Nick Chubb of the Cleveland Browns comes in fourth with a salary of $12.2 million per season, and he's followed by Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders, who makes $11.8 million per season.

The Green Bay Packers' Aaron Jones is sixth on the list with an average annual salary of $11.5 million.
