NFL Sunday Ticket deal: Verizon offering $449 package for free with certain purchases
NFL fans can still get a deal on NFL Sunday Ticket this upcoming season – this time from Verizon.
Newcomers to Verizon Wireless or Verizon Home Internet can get the programming package, which lets fans watch out-of-market regular season NFL games, for free by adding new cell or home connections, starting Thursday. Current Verizon mobile and home customers can also upgrade their services to get the deal or take $100 off the $449 regular price.
Google, which owns the YouTube TV live streaming service, outbid Amazon and ESPN for the rights to NFL Sunday Ticket last year and reportedly pays about $2 billion annually in its seven-year deal, The Wall Street Journal has reported.
How much does NFL Sunday Ticket cost?
Google's suggested retail price for NFL Sunday Ticket is $449 for the season, which begins Thursday, September 7. The first games viewable on NFL Sunday Ticket kick off on September 10.Currently, YouTube has the full season price for NFL Sunday Ticket at $399, which is $50 off, through Sept. 19. You can add the NFL RedZone channel for $40.
If you are a YouTube TV subscriber (the base plan is $72.99 monthly), you can get NFL Sunday Ticket for $299, or with the RedZone Channel for $339. YouTube TV gives you live TV from more than 100 channels for $72.99, plus unlimited DVR space and up to three simultaneous streams.

How can I get NFL Sunday Ticket free from Verizon?
New Verizon Wireless customers who buy or pre-order one of several select smartphones and sign up for a new Unlimited Plus Mobile line can get NFL Sunday Ticket for free. Eligible smartphones include Samsung's Galaxy S23 Series, the Galaxy Z Flip5 or the Galaxy Z Fold5, or one of Google's devices (the Pixel Fold, Pixel 7 or 7 Pro) or the Motorola Edge+.
Current Verizon Wireless customers are eligible with an upgrade to select smartphones and an eligible plan, or they can get $100 off an NFL Sunday Ticket subscription through Verizon Play+ starting Aug. 11.
You can also sign up for Verizon Home Internet service, which delivers home connectivity over wireless 5G and 4G LTE networks, to get NFL Sunday Ticket for free.
How many devices can I watch NFL Sunday Ticket on?
NFL Sunday Ticket can be watched on unlimited (simultaneous) streams at home and 2 additional streams out of the home for household members on the go. Family members can watch simultaneously on different devices throughout the home. Outside the home, you can only watch on up to two separate streams.
Verizon, which let subscribers stream local and prime-time NFL games on their phones in the past, has expanded its partnership with the NFL in other ways. The telecom giant is providing a private wireless network in all stadiums allowing coaches to communicate during games.
Verizon is delivering a new Managed Private Wireless Network solution across all 30 U.S. stadiums and 2023 International Series games, which includes full in-game support for on-field coach-to-coach communications.
“By deepening our technology-first partnership with the NFL and now partnering with YouTube on NFL Sunday Ticket, we’re able to offer customers the ultimate fan experience wherever they are on the most reliable 5G network in America," Verizon chairman and CEO Hans Vestberg said in a statement.
