NFL schedule today: NFC and AFC championship game TV coverage, channels, scores for Sunday
By Sunday night, the biggest game of the NFL season — and the biggest event annually on the American sports calendar — will have its two participants.
With only four teams remaining in the 2023-24 NFL playoffs, the road to Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas has been narrowed.
On Sunday, the No. 3 seed Detroit Lions will face off against the No. 1 seed San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game while No. 1 seed Baltimore Ravens will host the No. 3 seed Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.
The games themselves are milestones for several of the franchises involved.

For the Lions, it’s their first conference title game appearance since 1992, when they fell 41-10 to the franchise now known as the Washington Commanders. Baltimore is hosting its first conference championship game since 1971, when the then-Baltimore Colts defeated the then-Oakland Raiders 27-17.
A win will keep the reigning Super Bowl champion-Chiefs alive in their quest to win three Super Bowls over a five-year stretch, something only the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots have ever accomplished. If the 49ers beat the Lions and then win the Super Bowl two weeks later, they’ll tie the Steelers and Patriots for the most Super Bowls ever by a franchise, with six.

How to watch, livestream NFL conference championships games today

Sunday’s games are among the most anticipated of the year in any American sport, which make them available to a wide audience, even during a year in which the NFL took the unpopular step of putting one of its playoff games, the Chiefs’ 26-7 win against the Miami Dolphins on January 13, on a paid streaming subscription service, Peacock.
The NFC and AFC championship games will be on their traditional broadcast homes – Fox for the former, CBS for the latter. Kevin Burkhardt (play-by-play) and Greg Olsen (analyst) will call the Lions-49ers matchup for Fox, and Jim Nantz (play-by-play) and Tony Romo (analyst) will call the Chiefs-Ravens game for CBS.
Streaming options for the NFC title game include the Fox Sports app and Fubo, the latter of which offers a free trial to potential subscribers. The AFC championship game can be streamed on Paramount Plus and Fubo.
