Tebow tried to break up Hernandez 2007 fight

There's always a Tim Tebow connection.

Or so it seems.

The Orlando Sentinel reported Tuesday that Tebow tried to break up the 2007 bar fight in Gainesville, Fla., where Aaron Hernandez, per a police report, punched an employee and damaged his eardrum.

Per the report, Tebow tried to calm Hernandez down and even offered to pay the tab for the two drinks Hernandez had order himself.

Tebow and Hernandez both apparently notified then-Florida coach Urban Meyer of the incident. No charges were filed against Herandez, even though he was 17 at the time.

Tebow and Hernandez, of course, were teammates again on the Patriots for about two weeks until Hernandez's release following murder charges.
