Newly famous Mets fan tells A-Rod how much he enjoyed watching him strike out
Alex Rodriguez is used to taking abuse from fans. We’re just not sure he’s taken abuse from a fan quite like Frank.
Yes, that’s Frank. As in the now famously frustrated Mets fan who made headlines this week for his epic rant against New Jersey transit.

During Wednesday’s Fox Sports 1 pregame show, Frank was brought in to share his expertise. That segued into Frank giving what we assume are his genuine feelings on A-Rod.

Classic.
The entire segment got a good laugh out of the Fox Sports crew, including A-Rod. He’s a pretty good sport these days, and it’s translating very well to his television persona.
For those not entirely familiar with Frank’s new stardom, he was among the many people impacted by transit delays at Penn Station in Manhattan on Monday. Most people were annoyed that they might be late for work. Meanwhile, Frank, who was all decked out in Mets geared, needed to get to Citi Field in the worst way.

The delays did cause many fans to miss out on most of the opening day festivities. It seems Frank has finally calmed down though. Perhaps seeing himself portrayed on TV in that matter helped him lighten up. Then again, maybe having a chance to tell A-Rod how he feels was just that cathartic.
Only Frank knows, and it’s probably better that way.
