Team Na’Vi has announced which players will be staying on its Dota 2 team and which will be leaving the organization.

According to a post on Na’Vi’s official site, former team captain Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev, Dmitry “Ditya Ra” Minenkov, and Ivan “ArtStyle” Antonov are leaving the team. Players Danil “Dendi” Ishutin and Victor “GeneRaL” Nigrini will remain on the active roster in their current roles of position 2 and position 3, respectively. Na’Vi has not disclosed how it will be recruiting new players.

Previously, Na’Vi’s Dota 2 lineup was notable for remaining intact despite their poor performance at The International 2016. However, the team recently failed to qualify for the upcoming Boston Major event, finishing 2-7 in the group stages. Soon after, Na’Vi announced that it would not participate in the DreamLeague tournament for unspecified reasons, giving up their tournament spot to Ad Finem.

The Boston Major will take place from December 3-10 at the Wang Theater in Boston, Massachusetts. The event will feature eight invited teams — Wings Gaming, Digital Chaos, Evil Geniuses, Newbee, Ehome, Execration, OG, and MVP Phoenix — as well as eight teams who fought their way through qualifiers: Team NP, Complexity Gaming, LGD.Forever Young, iG Vitality, Ad Finem, Virtus.pro, Team Faceless, and WarriorsGaming.Unity. Yahoo Esports will be covering the event, so stay tuned for more news as it breaks.
