One would be hard pressed to say that the New England Patriots are weak on coaching. The New England Patriots are highly regarded as one of, if not, the best coached teams in the NFL. The New England Patriots have a set group of gentlemen put in all the right spots for the optimal coaching staff. One could argue that this is the best the New England Patriots’ coaching staff has ever been.

You start at the top with Bill Belichick who is going to go down as one of the all-time greats to ever coach in the NFL. Belichick has led the team for the past fifteen years and has won four Super Bowls alongside quarterback Tom Brady. Belichick and Brady have a special bond. The coaching staff also share a special bond.
Josh McDaniels, the Pats’ offensive coordinator, has worked with Tom Brady for years and has proven that he is a high quality NFL offensive coordinator. He got his first shot at head coaching when he took the head coaching job in Denver before coming back to the New England Patriots. McDaniels is easily capable of being a head coach and chances are he is going to get another offer at head coach soon.
The New England Patriots’ defense is a whole different animal. Defensive coordinator, Matt Patricia, has also learned under Bill Belichick and has become one of the great defensive minds in the NFL. It came as somewhat of a surprise to see that he has not become a head coach but he still has a world of potential to grow into.
The fact is, the New England Patriots have three head coach caliber members on the coaching staff at all the right positions. If coaching matters, and it does, New England has a great advantage with three brilliant minds leading the team.
