With the 2017 NFL Draft now in the books, it is time for us to take a way too early look at the prospects that could be taken by the Buffalo Bills during the 2018 NFL Draft. While these look will be condensed down to just three potential first round picks for next year’s event, it should be known that a lot of fluctuation could occur in the months that are ahead.

For now though, here are three players that the Buffalo Bills should consider taking with their first round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Bo Scarbrough — Running Back — Alabama

Emerging as the next every down back for the Crimson Tide at the end of the 2016 season, Bo Scarbrough looks set for a breakout campaign in 2017. If he puts up numbers similar to those that came before him, he should find himself as a potential first round draft pick when the 2018 NFL Draft rolls around.

The reason this pick is listed here for the Buffalo Bills is due to the age o LeSean McCoy. With Shady not getting any younger, the Bills may look to move on from their star player next year, opening the door for a new running back to come in and take control of the Buffalo Bills backfield.

Antonio Callaway — Wide Receiver — Florida

Trading back during this year’s draft, the Buffalo Bills missed out on landing a potential first round wide receiver. Should depth issues continue to plague this team down the road, Antonio Callaway would be a good option for the Bills to pursue in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Seen as a big and quick wide receiver, Antonio Callaway has been one of the few bright spots on a dismal Gators offense. If he can continue to produce with subpar quarterback play, it will show many NFL scouts the type of player he is and the type of player he could be once he reaches the NFL.

Quenton Nelson — Guard — Notre Dame

One of the oldest and thinnest positions on the Buffalo Bills roster is the offensive line. While there is no arguing that the unit is talented, it is also aging fast and extremely thin overall. Looking to fix this, the Bills could look to add at least one first round offensive lineman during the 2018 NFL Draft.

With guard being a big concern due to the age factor, the Bills could take Notre Dame guard Quenton Nelson with one of their two first round picks. Possessing great size, Nelson is also physically strong in both the run and pass game, making him an all around offensive lineman that the Bills should pursue.
