A restraining order has been filed against two Minnesota football players.

The temporary order was filed in Hennepin County District Court against running back Carlton Djam and defensive lineman Tamarion Johnson. According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, it was filed by a woman who works Minnesota games at TCF Bank Stadium, meaning the restraining order would prevent the two from being in attendance at home games.

From the Pioneer-Press:

The restraining order stems from an early morning incident Sept. 2, Hutton said. The incident included allegations of sexual assault, a Minneapolis police report said.

University spokesman Evan Lapinska said in a statement: “It would not be appropriate for the University to comment on this matter to the extent it relates to University students. The University reaffirms, however, that it will honor and comply with court orders.”

Neither player has been charged with a crime and an attorney for the players said he’s “aggressively advocating” for the two players to challenge the restraining order and reverse the home game ban. Minnesota plays at home Saturday vs. Rutgers.

Johnson was one of four players suspended by the team in September after an investigation into the Sep. 2 allegation where the woman said she was sexually assaulted before 4 a.m. the morning after Minnesota’s season-opener vs. Oregon State.

Following an announcement by the county district attorney that no charges would be filed in the case in early October, Johnson, defensive backs Ray Buford, KiAnte Hardin and Dior Johnson were reinstated to the team.

Minnesota coach Tracy Claeys said at the time that the players were suspended for a violation of team rules. Tamarion Johnson is redshirting as a freshman in 2016 while Djam, a sophomore, has seven carries for 33 yards in 2016. All seven of those carries came vs. Indiana State.
