News in brief:Kimmich: A time to enjoy
Things have gone pretty quickly for Joshua Kimmich. He joined FC Bayern last summer, subsequently playing at the highest level in his debut season. As a result, Joachim Löw has called him up for the preliminary Germany squad to contest the Euro 2016 finals. “It's a massive dream come true,” Kimmich said at the Germany training camp in Ascona on Thursday. “It's a time we lads should enjoy.” If the Bayern starlet is not included in the final roster he is likely to join the Germany U-21s for the Olympic Games. “Sure, it's on my mind. I'd like to play in Rio,” Kimmich acknowledged.
