Newly unveiled bobblehead commemorates Penn State wrestling’s historic season

Besides Penn State wrestling, national championships and other accolades, what else do coach Cael Sanderson, David Taylor, Zain Retherford, Bo Nickal, Aaron Brooks, Carter Starocci and other Nittany Lion greats have in common?

They all have their own bobbleheads.

Penn State fans now have an opportunity to add to their collections as the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum announced Friday it is releasing the first Nittany Lion mascot wrestling bobblehead.

“Bobbleheads are the ultimate way to celebrate a team’s championship, and this bobblehead will be the ultimate way for Nittany Lions fans to commemorate the Penn State wrestling team’s 2024 national championship,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said in a written statement. “We’re excited to be unveiling this bobblehead celebrating Penn State’s title, which is the 11th national championship under head coach Cael Sanderson since 2011 and 12th overall — a true dynasty that Penn State fans can be very proud of.”

They can be ordered on the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s website. The bobbleheads are expected to ship out in September.
