NC State fans not happy with Kevin Keatts after (another) loss to UNC
For about 20 minutes of gameplay on Saturday, it looked like NC State was primed to pull off an upset in Chapel Hill and spoil the day for North Carolina. But in the second half, the Tar Heels rallied using their defense to force NC State to miss 15-straight shots.
The Tar Heels rallied from that 8-point halftime deficit to sweep the regular season series against the Wolfpack. It was the 55th win in the last 68 meetings for the Tar Heels against the Wolfpack as they have dominated this series for a while now.
After the game, Wolfpack fans took their frustrations to X (formerly Twitter) and complained about Kevin Keatts who was once named ‘A winner’ by the fan base. But now going into the final week of the regular season, NC State has to run the table and win out to avoid missing the NCAA Tournament for the fifth time in the past six seasons.
