NBA Twitter reacts to red hot Zach LaVine leading Bulls past Sixers

The Philadelphia 76ers were looking to keep the winning streak going before they hit the road for a game, but Zach LaVine and the Chicago Bulls had other plans.

LaVine went off for 41 points while drilling 11 triples to lead the Bulls to a 126-112 win over the Sixers on the road. This is the second time over the past five games that Philadelphia allowed an opponent to make 11 triples. New Orleans Pelicans guard CJ McCollum drilled a career-high and a New Orleans franchise record 11 3-pointers on Dec. 30.

Along with LaVine’s big night, the Bulls got 19 points, 18 rebounds, and 10 assists out of Nikola Vucevic. Chicago took advantage of no Joel Embiid as they won the rebounding battle 45-38 and they had 46 points in the paint.

Tyrese Maxey had 26 points and six assists for the Sixers, Tobias Harris had 22 and 11 rebounds, and James Harden had 17, 11, and seven rebounds. However, Harden shot only 4-for-17 from the floor.

NBA Twitter gave its best reactions to LaVine’s big performance.
