NBA playoffs: Tobias Harris records game-high 27 points
A former University of Tennessee basketball player led all scorers in a second-round NBA playoff game Monday.
Philadelphia forward Tobias Harris had a game-high 27 points in the 76ers’ 106-92 loss to the top-seeded Heat in Game 1 of a best-of-7 series.
Harris started and played 37 minutes for fourth-seeded Philadelphia against the Heat at FTX Arena in Miami.
Harris also had six rebounds, one assist and one block in the contest.
He was 11-for-18 from the floor, 1-for-4 from beyond the 3-point arc and 4-for-5 from the free throw line.
The series resumes in Miami Wednesday with tipoff slated for 7:30 p.m. EDT. The game will be televised by TNT.
