With 22 games left in the regular season and the Nuggets outside the playoff picture in the West, it's possible Gallinari will be shut down for the season. The third-year veteran played for the Philadelphia 76ers earlier this season and averaged 3.9 points and 3.3 assists in 14 games. - - Guard Jorge Gutierrez signed a second 10-day contract with the Charlotte Hornets. Gutierrez signed his first 10-day contract with Charlotte on Feb. 20 and appeared in one game, scoring four points with two assists and one steal versus. Cleveland on Feb. 24.
