Natalie Leuzinger set to return to Wisconsin basketball next season
MADISON – Natalie Leuzinger will return to the Wisconsin basketball team next season.
The Badgers announced the news on social media Friday morning in a post that touted Leuzinger's return as well as the return of Halle Douglass. Both will be fifth-year seniors next season, though Douglass, a 6-foot-2 guard/forward who missed her junior season due to a knee injury, already declared her intention to return.
Leuzinger, on the other hand, had not made a final decision about her future.

Leuzinger's return means the Badgers will have at their disposal next season a player who was one of the team’s top perimeter defenders, a master at taking charges and a reliable three-point shooter.
The Monroe, Wisconsin, native averaged 7.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game while playing an average of 29.7 minutes per contest. Her 30.8% three-point shooting was the best of any player on the team with more than 100 attempts.
Before Senior Day, Moseley explained how Leuzinger impacted the team.
"She was a walk-on when I arrived here and for her to earn a scholarship throughout her time here and just be the kind of glue kid she’s become for this team, especially this year, (has been impressive)," Moseley said. "Her willingness and ability to do whatever our team needs to try to compete to win and being a hometown kid, it has been awesome to see her growth."
