Narrows' Pruett earns VHSL All-Class 1 first team status

Mar. 23—CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Narrows senior swing man Kolier Pruett was accorded first team status on the recent Virginia High School League All-Class 1 boys basketball team recently released by the league.

Pruett, who was also an All-State football selection for the Green Wave, was joined on the first team by VHSL Player of the Year Troy Henderson of Lancaster, Carver Academy's CamRon Paul, Honaker's Keyton Keene, Auburn's Nick Millirons, Chaevon Torrence of Franklin, Ichi Lane of Middlesex and Daveon Smith of Lancaster.

Second team picks included Reed Kirtner of George Wythe, Coahan Gordon of Auburn, Jaquan Griffith of Middlesex, Jayden Boyd of Altavista, Anthony Clay of Clay of Altavista, Jayshaun Jones of Brunswick, Jonah Looney of Grundy and Caywood Cole of Patrick Henry-Glade Springs.

Lancaster's Dwane Pinn was named VHSL All Class 1 Boys Basketball Coach of the Year.
