We name the best of the best in Bucks County area wrestling over the last 10 years

Here's a list with a twist.

We're going to rank the top wrestlers in the Courier Times/Intelligencer area going back to 2014, but, unlike our usual lists, we're going to include active high school wrestlers in this one.

The reason?

It's simple, really.

Our area had three PIAA state champs last year, two then-sophomores in Collin Gaj from Quakertown and Gauge Botero from Faith Christian and then-freshman Adam Waters, also from Faith Christian.

Keeping guys like that, and others still competing, off a current list is just silly.

So let's take a look.

Again, this is a list of the top wrestlers that graduated from 2014 to present.

Quakertown's Collin Gaj captured a PIAA Class AAA title last season, going 49-0 in the process.

Waiting in the wings

Joey Bachmann, freshman, Faith Christian

I know, he's only a freshman, but already his street cred is undeniable. An under-17 Pan American Games gold medal last summer as a 15-year-old and titles already this season at the prestigious Walsh Ironman and Beast of the East help prove the point.
