Each winner will be awarded a one-of-a-kind Athlete of the Week shirt provided by BSN SPORTS. Winners will be contacted weekly. Nominees are accepted via email or phone, but will be selected by staff in the absence of submission.

Mulligan’s Athlete of the Week (Feb. 12-17)

Boys Basketball: Justin Beall, South Fork - The senior center scored 18 of his game-high 20 points during the fourth quarter of Bulldogs' regional quarterfinal victory over Lake Howell.

Boys Lacrosse: Reed Sternberg, St. Edward's - The senior midfielder had six goals during the Pirates' victory over Vero Beach.

Boys Tennis: Jayden Dyer, Jensen Beach - The sophomore was unbeaten in a pair of singles matches and a pair of doubles matches.

Boys Wrestling: Gian Ortiz, Jensen Beach - The senior claimed first place at the 120-pound weight class to help the Falcons took first overall at the District 13-1A meet. Ortiz pinned Gumaro Martinez III in 3 minutes, 35 seconds.

Girls Basketball: Jada Parson, St. Lucie West Centennial - The sophomore forward scored a team-high 25 points on 8-for-12 shooting from the field and grabbed nine rebounds during the Eagles' regional quarterfinal win against West Orange.

Girls Lacrosse: Bayley Walker, Sebastian River - The senior had six goals and an assist during the team's season-opening victory over East River. She also had 11 ground balls, five caused turnovers and won 10 of 13 draws.

Girls Soccer: Victoria Valles, Treasure Coast - The senior scored the game-winning goal during the Titans' regional quarterfinal win over Harmony.

Girls Tennis: Lauren Kelly, Martin County - The freshman won all three of her singles matches and captured two more wins in doubles action to help the Tigers to win three meets.

Girls Weightlifting: Enyjai Tyson, Vero Beach - The senior won state titles in Olympic and traditional events at the 169-pound weight classes.

Girls Wrestling: Quisiera Wilson, Lincoln Park Academy - The freshman improved her record to 34-0 this season after winning a region title at the 190-pound weight class. Wilson collected four pins en route to the championship, including a fall over Doral Academy's Tessa Diaz in 1:27 in the first-place match.
