Here’s How Much the 2025 Gas-Powered Mini Cooper S Costs
Mini is showing the 2025 Mini Cooper S in-person at the New York International Auto Show and has revealed full pricing details.
Starting at $33,195 for the Signature trim and going up to $35,595 for the Signature Plus trim, Mini Coopers are getting decidedly more expensive.
Standard features include heated front seats, a panoramic moon roof, and a heated steering wheel, though options like dynamic dampers and roof rails aren't too expensive.
Mini has been teasing consumers with its revamped lineup for some time now. However, the BMW-owned brand is finally sharing perhaps the most important detail of all: pricing. Set for launch in the coming months, Mini will offer the gasoline-powered Cooper series before the electric versions, and at a premium.
Offered in three trim levels (Signature, Signature Plus, and Iconic) for 2025, the lowest end of F66-generation Cooper S models will start at $33,195. From there, Signature Plus Cooper S models will start at $35,595, including the $995 destination and delivery.
Signature Plus trim models receive Active Driving Assistant systems, specific wheels, and the $950 Comfort Package, which includes keyless entry and wireless charging. Bumping up to the $2700 Iconic trim yields power seats, an interior camera, and a Harman Kardon surround sound system.
Other notable options include Dynamic Damper Control ($500), roof rails ($250), and power front seats ($1000). Signature trim Cooper S models don't come standard with any of these features, though the stock outfit isn't too shabby, either. A panoramic moonroof, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel are all standard across the Cooper S lineup.
Powertrains remain standard across the Cooper S lineup, banking on a Munich-designed 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine known as the B48, shared across BMW platforms.
Pumping out 201 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque, the 2025 Mini Cooper S is receiving a significant power bump from the previous model year. Fed through the front wheels exclusively, Cooper S models will only come with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Compared to the previous model year, prices are up by around $3000 for the base model Cooper S. Notably, Cooper S hardtop models were priced as low as $27,895 in 2023, emphasizing the increased costs associated with the new Cooper platform development.
Shown in person at the New York International Auto Show, the 2025 Mini Cooper S is already in production, according to a production timeline provided by Mini. As the bite-sized car brand prepares for a full roll-out, Mini says this initial batch of Coopers will be in dealerships shortly.
