MATT HARMON: In honor and memory of-- oh, my-- enough! Oh, geez! Again, what is with the emotional gut punches here? Gah!

It's the wild card weekend edition of the Fantasy Football Survival Kit. That's right, the regular season is over. Even week 17 is in the books. Doesn't matter, we're still taking you people, the people, my people, we're still taking your suggestions and your commentary on all things fantasy, all things football. Normally, I don't care about this stuff. So I was skeptical when we asked you all to send in the pictures of your awesome league trophies, some of your best prizes for the winner. I was skeptical. But oh my God! You all some absolutely incredible ones. I've talked enough. Let's bring in the main attraction. Let's go, let's get into it, right now!

And we're starting off on a hot note here. This first one comes in from @Nick_Adams10. "Our winner this year with our traveling hammerhead shark trophy." It feels pretty good to get a whole shark as a trophy, as a celebration of reeling in the fantasy football championship. Number one, how do I get in this league? I want to win that trophy. Number two, where do you put it? I would love to see the look on your significant other's face when you say, hey, we got to find a place in the house, or God forbid, an apartment, to put this [BLEEP] shark. Next, next.

This next one comes in from @TrevorLewis444. The league winner of their little collection of teams there, their league, they win a pair of jorts with their name etched on to it. My only question here is, are you allowed to wear the jorts? If you can wear them, do you wear them out in public? Because obviously, jorts-- listen, I'm a fan of short shorts. I'm just going to say it, OK? Sky's out, thighs out, baby. I'm fully OK with us fellas showing off a little leg with the shorts. Jorts? That's a different question. One more thing. No, never mind. Next.

This next one comes in from TC Patrick, and he presents the McKinnon Cup. What the hell is that thing on the top? And obviously there's a lot of folks down there on the bottom. TC Patrick followed up and said, "It's fairly straightforward here. There was-- the trophy was originally called the Superb Owl, hence the owl." Yeah, real straightforward. I don't know if it's straightforward that that thing is definitely an owl. It also could be a nightmare. It could be a ghoul, a goblin, that rests under your bed at night. That is one thing we should point out here.

But it was named after Jerick McKinnon when he helped the inaugural winner. I actually kind of love associating a trophy with a specific fantasy player, because, like, remember, this is all about the players. Let's remember to give credit to the players. I love that, even if I don't know if Jerick McKinnon is too psyched about being associated with this owl. You never know. Next.

This next one comes in from Meredith B. Kyle. One of their league members had an orphaned gold hightop. Another had an oddly ornate candleholder. With a bit of superglue, they attached the two things together. And The Trophy That Was Dope came to life. That's pretty sick, I love it. I love the just random house items combined together. That's pretty sick. I would put that, I would definitely put that on my mantle if I won. That's, that's something to be proud of. Uh, next.

This next one comes in from Tim Bilton. The 17th year of their league is completed. Their "friend's dad made this trophy for us by hand before his passing." Oh my god. I expected good laughs. We started out on a very hilarious note. I didn't think-- I didn't think it would be getting dusty in this room. That's awesome. I love the tribute. That's sick. And shout out to all the great dads out there in the world. And the great moms, and all the great parental figures out there. I love this tribute. Next.

This next one comes in from @TristateNeal. "My dad, Murray, loved football. Our family football fantasy league plays for the privilege of holding our awesome trophy in his honor: the Murray Bowl." Hell, yeah. Again, shout out to the dads. I love that it's just simple, too. Just "the Murray Bowl." And it's a bowl. It is literally a bowl. I'm guessing that this was, it looks like perhaps a fruit bowl that maybe they spray-painted and they slapped it on top of the trophy thing. I love it, that's sick. Again, if we can honor our elders, our parental figures, as a result of this stupid little hobby, especially if it's a fantasy league, that's called unity. That's bringing folks together. This is good diff-- it's getting difficult. Next.

"In honor and memory of one of our founding members, I'll also be getting my name on the back for-- oh, for back-to-back championships." Good for you. Oh, my god. I mean, this is like-- it's hard, this is hard to get through. I love the touching tributes to the founding league members, to dads. That's sick. Next, mate. Oh, no. That was not very good.

This last one comes in from @Hellbound_Harry. "The Huck It, Chuck It FOOTBALL League's Champion's Gong"? I'm sorry, that's a gong? If this was me, after a few cervezas every couple of weekends, I'm, like, doing a group chat with everyone, just smacking this gong all year long. This is the coolest thing ever. I don't know if you could possibly win a better trophy than a freaking gong. Amazing.

That is going to do it for a surprisingly hilarious, but also surprisingly emotional, edition of the Fantasy Football Survival Kit here, as we're heading into wild card weekend. I love all the exchanging of trophies this year. I love the tradition that this brings. And really, isn't that what fantasy football is all about? It's not about taking your victory lap. It's not about winning money. Although obviously, winning money is-- It's about the unity and the togetherness. Enjoy all the wild card games. You get an extra game this weekend. And even if one of them features the Bears, I think it's going to be one hell of a slate of games.
