Is this the most help Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have had?

This season’s Boston Celtics team is littered with elite talent. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are both thriving in the additional space the recent acquisitions of Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis are providing. As such, it wouldn’t be wild to claim that this iteration of Boston’s roster is the best it’s been during the Tatum and Brown era.

Some may disagree. The 2018-19 roster featuring Brown, Tatum, Gordon Hayward, Kyrie Irving, and Al Horford was also incredibly deep and talented. However, that season went down as a failed year after in-fighting, and injuries derailed the Celtics before things got going.

In a recent episode of “The Lowe Post” podcast, ESPN’s Zach Lowe takes a look at each version of the Celtics since Tatum and Brown have been on the team. He looks at the roster construction and the strength in depth. Finally, he makes a decision on whether he believes this is the best team Tatum and Brown have been a part of.
