In boys' basketball

➜ Arcola 61, Judah Christian 38. Eighteen points from Braden Phillips, 16 points from Tanner Thomas and 10 points from Ryan Lindstrom keyed the Purple Riders (4-2) past the host Tribe (1-8) in nonconference play. Joshua Kersell paced the Tribe with nine points, but a 32-17 halftime deficit proved to be too much to overcome.

➜ La Salette 51, Arthur Christian 37. Eamon Martin scored 14 points to lead La Salette a road win. James Lee scored 11 points to lead the Conquering Riders (4-5).

➜ Sullivan 57, Blue Ridge 49. Camden Watkins scored 20 points and Brett Bushue added 16 points to key the Redskins (7-1) past the Knights (5-3) in Lincoln Prairie Conference play. Three Blue Ridge scorers ended with double figures, with Colin Michaels' 17 points leading the way, while Zach Lewis scored 13 points and Isaac Price had 11 points.

Iroquois West Holiday Hoops

Iroquois West 43, Clifton Central 33. Kenleigh Hendershot's 12-point performance led a nine-point outing from Jessye Rodriguez and seven points from Abby Kraft in a comfortable win for the host Raiders (7-5), who advanced to Wednesday night's championship game against Gardner-South Wilmington that will tip off at 7 p.m. in Gilman.

➜ Hoopeston Area 33, Herscher 26. Ten points from Maddie Barnes, eight points apiece from Claire Dixon and Kaitlynn Lange and seven points from Brylie Cox helped the Cornjerkers (5-6) deal the Tigers a setback. Hoopeston Area will square off against Milford at 7 p.m. Wednesday in a consolation game in Onarga.

➜ Wilmington 48, Milford 21. Eight points from Hunter Mowrey weren't enough to guide the Bearcats to a victory over the Wildcats (6-8).

➜ Arcola 45, Tri-County 40. Kacie Sisk's game-high 27 points were joined by 14 points from Jacey Kessler and eight points from Kelsey Moore in a Lincoln Prairie Conference victory for the Purple Riders (6-3). Josie Armstrong reached the 1,000 point plateau with a 19-point performance that keyed the Titans (8-2).

➜ Argenta-Oreana 42, Blue Ridge 17. Gracie Manning scored nine points to lead a balanced Argenta-Oreana team to a Lincoln Prairie home win for the Bombers (2-7). Phoebe Reynolds had a team-high six points for Blue Ridge (2-8).

➜ Cerro Gordo/Bement 42, Decatur Unity Christian 17. Haylei Simpson's 18-point output singlehandedly outpaced that of the Lions as the Broncos (8-2) cruised to a road victory in Lincoln Prairie action. Jillian Durbin and Bailey Walter also contributed with six points apiece.

➜ Cissna Park 49, Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin 20. Addison Lucht scored 22 points — including five threes — with five rebounds, three assists and three steals and Morgan Sinn contributed 11 points and three rebounds to power the host Timberwolves (7-2) to a Vermilion Valley Conference win over the Blue Devils (7-2), who were led by Ella Myers' seven points.

➜ Coal City 52, Prairie Central 23. Sawyer Ashman's six-point, seven-rebound performance led the Hawks (1-10) in a nonconference loss to the host Coalers.

➜ Deer Creek-Mackinaw 45, LeRoy 33. Molly Buckles and Natalie Loy scored 15 points apiece to leave Emily Bogema as the lone scorer for the host Panthers (9-3) in a Heart of Illinois Conference setback. The Chiefs jetted ahead to a 22-10 halftime advantage en route to the win.

➜ Georgetown-Ridge Farm 50, Westville 18. The host Buffaloes (5-5) cataloged a VVC victory over the Tigers (3-9) thanks to 20 points from Kendall Roberts and six points apiece from Milee Ellis, Madi Spesard and Sydney Spesard. Lani Gondzur and Daylin Zaayer scored six points apiece for the Tigers.

➜ Mahomet-Seymour 47, Unity 43. Eighteen points from Kylie Waldinger and nine points from Reese Gallier were enough to lift the Bulldogs (5-7) to an overtime win over the host Rockets (6-5) in a game that was tied at 39 after the first 32 minutes of play. Raegen Stringer paced Unity with 17 points while Reagan Little chipped in 10 points of her own.

➜ Peoria Richwoods 68, St. Joseph-Ogden 26. The Spartans fell behind by double digits in the first quarter and could not recover in a road nonconference loss. Addy Martinie had a team-high 10 points for SJ-O (2-5).

➜ Salt Fork 49, Chrisman 14. Three Storm (6-3) scorers found double digits as Alexa Jamison poured in 16 points and Brycie Hird and Sailor Pacot added 10 points apiece to secure a triumph over the host Cardinals (2-7). Taylor Jones keyed Chrisman's attack with seven points.

➜ Sullivan 49, Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond 31. Shae Ellis and Mae Dawkins scored nine points apiece and Addison Minor and Aerlyn Thrasher added eight points apiece to lift the host Redskins (4-5) past the Knights (5-5) in a comfortable Lincoln Prairie Conference win. Claire Seal paced ALAH with 14 points.

➜ Tri-Valley 63, Paxton-Buckley-Loda 21. Aubrey Busboom's six-point performance led the Panthers (2-7) in a nonconference loss to the Vikings.

➜ Uni High 35, Schlarman 14. Chizara Onyemere scored a game-high 13 points to power the Illineks (3-7) to a road victory over the Hilltoppers (0-2) with Gabby Mongwa adding 12 points, seven rebounds and seven steals. Addison Forsyth scored six points to pace Schlarman, which could not recover from Uni's 17-5 advantage in the third quarter.

➜ Villa Grove 36, Heritage 33. Jobella Crafton's 24-point outburst helped the host Blue Devils (1-4) skirt past the Hawks in an overtime game in LPC play. Bre Ploense led the Hawks (1-12) with 10 points.

➜ Watseka 57, Oakwood 22. Fifteen points from Haven Meyer and 14 points from Ava Swartz helped the host Warriors (10-1) earn a comfortable victory over the Comets in VVC play, with Megan Martin grabbing 11 rebounds and Jasmine Essington adding eight boards of her own. Jaydah Arrowsmith paced Oakwood (4-6) with eight points while Nikita Taylor chipped in seven points.
