Michigan State baseball splits Saturday series in Greenville

Michigan State is down in Greenville, South Carolina, for their annual spring break trip to Fluor Field. After a rainout on Friday, the Spartans got to work on Saturday.

In game one, MSU defeated Western Michigan, 13-3 in 8 innings, run ruling the Broncos. The Spartans bats were alive and well in the contest.

In game two, the bats cooled down for Michigan State, and the team could not keep pace with Florida State. MSU would drop the game, 11-2.

MSU will finish their weekend on Sunday, against Illinois, in a nonconference tilt.
