Michigan hockey vs. Boston College in NCAAs: Time, TV channel for Frozen Four game

Can Michigan hockey's magical run continue?

The Wolverines entered the national quarterfinal game against Michigan State having lost four straight this year to the Spartans, including in the Big Ten championship just a week prior. When it mattered most, the Wolverines came through in a big way, beating the Spartans, 5-2, on the back of a dominant four-goal third period.

With the victory, the Wolverines advanced to their third straight Frozen Four and a record 28th appearance overall, the most in college hockey history.

Next up for the Wolverines is an even bigger task, a matchup with another college hockey powerhouse, Boston College. The Eagles were the undisputed No. 1 overall seed in this year's tournament and started their run by smoking another team from the Mitten State, Michigan Tech, in the first round before narrowly squeezing by Quinnipiac, who beat the Wolverines last year en route to claiming the national championship.

Michigan has been a consistent presence at the Frozen Four in recent years, but still is looking to get over the hump. Once getting to the Frozen Four, the Wolverines have lost in the semifinal four straight times and haven't won a national championship since 1998, despite boatloads of talent coming through the program.
