Michigan football vs. Nebraska time, channel revealed

Michigan football opens up Big Ten play on Saturday when it hosts Rutgers at noon on Big Ten Network, but there was some uncertainty as to when fans will get to see the maize and blue for the first time on the road in Week 5.

Now we know when the Wolverines will kick off and what channel the game will be on.

Sept. 30 will mark the first time the maize and blue will play away from the friendly confines of Michigan Stadium when they take their show on the road to Lincoln, Nebraska to face the Cornhuskers. The last time Michigan played at Nebraska, it was a night game, and it ended up being a thriller. However, this time around, it will be a 3:30 p.m. EDT kickoff which will be televised nationally on Fox.

Nebraska has struggled thus far this year, but considering how raucous a capacity crowd at Memorial Stadium can be, this is great news for the maize and blue.

After the Nebraska game, Michigan will remain on the road when it travels the following week to Minnesota.
