Hallock, a junior listed at 6 feet 4 and 210 pounds, appeared in four games for the Spartans this past season and has a forced fumble in his Spartan career. He attended Forest Hills Central in Grand Rapids and was a three-star recruit when he committed to MSU in 2018.

Spurlock, a freshman, played sparingly in the first two games of the season and notched three tackles vs. Hawaii. The 6-1, 231-pounder from Alabama committed in September 2021 to the Wolverines as a three-star prospect.

Michigan won the Big Ten and finished 13-1 after losing in the Fiesta Bowl to TCU as part of the Colege Football Playoff. Michigan State was 5-7 and won just three games in conference play.
