Michael Penix Jr. looks back at his journey at Washington and what’s ahead in the NFL
Yahoo Sports' Jason Fitz is joined by the Washington Huskies quarterback on Radio Row at Super Bowl LVIII to discuss his reaction to Kalen Deboer heading to Alabama, the best wide receiver he's played with and the player he's most excited to go against in the NFL. Michael joined Yahoo Sports on behalf of Sharpie's Rookie of the Year program.

- Yeah, I figured. Three-- three of spades. OK. Man, you-- all right. Get another easy one. Fun fact, all right, you were-- you're from Cookeville OK.
- What?
- You were born in Cookeville, right? You were born in Cookeville. We'll say it that way.
- From Florida.
- But you-- but you were born in Cookeville, Tennessee?

- Correct. I lived right outside of Cookeville, Tennessee, for a long time. Do the mascot of Tennessee Tech?
MICHEAL PENIX JR: That's the Golden Eagle.
JASON FITZ: Look at that. Look at that. He's two for two. We can't even give him a hard one yet. So higher or lower. Five--

- He's going to get-- it's an ace, all right? So you know what?
- We're counting that as a one?
- I mean, we're counting it as a one because I just want to give you a hard lesson and I'm in charge of things. That's how we go. All right. So tough question. First, your initial reaction when you heard your coach Kalen DeBoer was headed to Alabama. What was that?
- I was excited. You know, obviously, I can't-- I can't be-- I can't be upset with that man for anything, you know? He's the guy that helped me throughout my career and he helped bring my career to where I'm at today, you know? So I got nothing but respect for him and love for him for the rest of my life, and he knows that. So--
- So higher or lower?
- Higher.
- He says higher.
- Two. Finally, I get another tough one. Oh, this one. I'mma pin you in on this one.
- All right.
- The best wide receiver you've ever played with.
- The best that I've ever played with? I got-- can I pick--
JASON FITZ: See?
- I can only pick one?
- You got to pick one. I'll be honest with you-- all while he's thinking about this, I actually-- we sat down, we were making the questions. We were like, this one's going to be tough for him because he's going to have to pick a teammate.
- Easy.
- And then-- OK.
- Jalen Odunze.
- Oh. Did I do that? I got two Jalens.
JASON FITZ: I mean-- this is why he's going to be in the NFL because he can tap dance, all right? He's tap dancing the tough questions. All right. So higher or lower?
- I'm going higher.
- Gets an ace. We're going to say that's lower because I like these hard questions we're giving you. You're-- you're going to get drafted. Dream NFL destination would be? The place you would love to play would be?
MICHEAL PENIX JR: I don't have one.
JASON FITZ: Really?
MICHEAL PENIX JR: I want to play anywhere. As long as I get the opportunity, you know, I feel like I'll be able to make something happen with it, you know? And that's all I need, is the opportunity.
JASON FITZ: Is there somebody right now that you're like, man, I can't wait to stand on the same field as that guy?
MICHEAL PENIX JR: I'd like to see Lamar Jackson play.
JASON FITZ: That's awesome. All right. Let's get one more in here. All right. Higher or lower. What do you got?

- All right. So we'll give you a little softball here. You're here with Sharpie, right? So weirdest autograph place you've ever been asked to sign? Come on. Somebody ever come up and been like, sign my shoulder, sign my baby, sign my forehead?
- Yeah, I've had the fore-- I had the forehead. And I was like, is your-- it's kid's and I'm like, is your parents OK with this? I'm like-- I'm like, OK, but forehead is-- yeah, that was kind of crazy.
- Is there somebody that if you ran into him somewhere, you'd be like, I want that guy to autograph something for me?
- Lamar.
- Lamar? That's amazing. All right. So tell us what you're doing with Sharpie.
