Miami Dolphins injury update: Tyreek Hill, De'Von Achane, Liam Eichenberg, Robert Hunt, Terron Armstead

MIAMI GARDENS - Among the Dolphins whose status have been in question heading into Sunday's game against the Jets are:

Running back De'Von Achane (toe), center Liam Eichenberg (calf), guard Robert Hunt (hamstring), tackle Terron Armstead (knee/ankle), safety Jevon Holland (knees), cornerback Xavien Howard (hip) and receiver Tyreek Hill (ankle).

Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel addressed the injuries on Friday.

McDaniel said DeShon Elliott (concussion protocol) is out.

Hunt is out.

Everybody else will practice, McDaniel said, except Hill.

"In theory, he would be able to practice, if he didn't have that standard that he has," McDaniel said. "Right now, we're just focused on getting it as healthy as possible. We'll have a conversation that will be based upon Tyreek Hill's career. He's very experienced. When we talk, if he is confident and I have the support of medical staff and he can be himself, then he'll play. If not, he won't. Every hour is imperative. He is focused on rehab."

There will be many questionable players.

If Eichenberg can't start, McDaniel said it's not a case of competitive advantage situation, but he's not sure who would start. He needs to see the center options in practice on Friday.

"A lot of moving parts," McDaniel said. "If you're voting for a Pro Bowl offensive line coach, vote for Butch Barry."

Lester Cotton, Jonotthan Harrison and Matt Skura would be options at center.
