Following the graduation of Yankees infielder Oswald Peraza, Mets 2022 first-round draft pick Jett Williams became the latest addition to MLB's Top 100 prospect list.

Williams, coming in at No. 100, represents the Mets on the list along with Francisco Alvarez, Brett Baty, Kevin Parada and Alex Ramirez.

Through the start of the Single-A ball season with St. Lucie, Williams is hitting .241 with a .824 OPS in 16 games. His ability to get on base stands out early in 2023 with 15 walks in those 16 games to help boost his .453 on-base percentage.

MLB Pipeline has William's ETA to the majors at the 2026 season.

SNY contributor Joe DeMayo recently ranked Williams at No. 5 within the Mets system, writing:

Williams was my favorite player in the 2022 draft class. He was the smallest player in the class but had some of the best bat-to-ball skills. His size may limit his home run output down the road, but I think this is a plus athlete who can play shortstop, second or even center field if you’d like. I am looking forward to seeing his plate discipline and approach in his first pro season. However, I believe this is a dynamic player who will hit for average, doubles, triples and steal some bags for you.
