Meet the 2023-24 Fab 5 high school senior boys basketball players
A trio of playmaking guards and two forwards with impressive athleticism are at the heart of this year's Fab 5 senior boys basketball team.
Neenah's Brady Corso and Joey La Chapell give this team a solid backcourt with Oshkosh North's Stevie Clark, a 6-foot-6 slasher, the returning Fox Valley Association leading scorer.
Kaukauna's Jon O'Neill, at 6-10, provides a potent presence in the paint and De Pere's Will Hornseth (6-8) is versatile and comes with a championship pedigree, having helped the Redbirds to an undefeated record and WIAA Division 1 state championship last season.
Here's a look at this year's team.
Stevie Clark, Oshkosh North
Height: 6-6.
Position: Guard.
Favorite school subject: Biology.
Favorite food: Grilled cheese.
Favorite musical artist: Yeat.

Favorite pro athlete: Kevin Durant.
Why he’s on the team: Led the Fox Valley Association in scoring last season with 23.6 points and also had 4.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.7 steals. Is ranked No. 7 among top seniors by wissports.net. Honorable mention on the WBCA all-state team in D1. Will play collegiately at Colgate.
Brady Corso, Neenah
Height: 6-1.
Position: Guard.
Favorite school subject: Math and AP Psychology.
Favorite food: Cheeseburger.
Favorite musical artist: Drake, Rod Wave.
Favorite movie: “Hoosiers.”
Favorite pro athlete: Steph Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo .
Why he’s on the team: Averaged 15.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists in helping the Rockets reach the D1 state semifinals. Honorable mention on the WBCA all-state team in D1. Will play collegiately at St. Leo University.
Joey La Chapell, Appleton East
Height: 6-2.
Position: Guard.
Favorite school subject: Culinary.
Favorite food: Eggs.
Favorite musical artist: Gunna.
Favorite movie: “Avengers: Infinity War.”
Favorite pro athlete: Steph Curry.
Why he’s on the team: Averaged 16.5 points and led the Fox Valley Association in assists (5.7). Ranked No. 26 among top seniors by wissports.net.
Jon O’Neill, Kaukauna
Height: 6-10.
Position: Forward.
Favorite school subject: Social studies.
Favorite food: Chicken alfredo.
Favorite musical artist: Drake.
Favorite movie: “The Dark Knight.”
Favorite pro athlete: Michael Jordan.
Why he’s on the team: Averaged 12.8 points and 11.7 rebounds. Honorable mention on the WBCA all-state team in D1. Will play collegiately at New Hampshire.
Will Hornseth, De Pere
Height: 6-8.
Position: Forward.
Favorite school subject: Social studies.
Favorite food: Turkey sandwich.
Favorite musical artist: Paramore.
Favorite TV show: "The Good Place."
Favorite pro athlete: Nikola Jokic.
Why he's on the team: Ranked No. 3 among top seniors by wissports.net. Averaged 16.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocked shots in helping De Pere to a 30-0 record and the D1 state championship. First-team WBCA all-state in D1 and third-team AP all-state. Will play collegiately at Northern Iowa.
