Matthew Stafford taken to locker room, evaluated for concussion
Matthew Stafford missed Week 10 while in the concussion protocol but he was able to practice and return this week leading up to the Saints game. However, in the third quarter after taking a third-down sack, Stafford left the field and went into the medical tent.
After leaving the tent, Stafford went to the bench and continued to have conversations with the medical staff. He was then taken to the locker room with trainers.
The Rams later announced that Stafford is being evaluated for a concussion. That’s concerning for a quarterback who was just in the protocol recently.
On the next series, Bryce Perkins replaced Stafford at quarterback.
