Matthew Stafford sets career passing TD record against the Packers defense

Matthew Stafford made history on Sunday in Green Bay. The longtime Lions quarterback has done more damage to the Packers defense than anyone ever has.

Stafford’s TD pass to Marvin Jones at the end of the first quarter in Lambeau Field gave him 35 career TD strikes against the Packers. That breaks the tie with Hall of Famer Johnny Unitas for the most career TDs against the Packers.

It’s the most touchdown passes Stafford has against any opponent, and he’s done it in his 19th career start against Green Bay. Stafford has thrown 29 TDs against the Bears and 27 against the Vikings, also all in 19 starts.

It took Unitas 23 games to hit the 34 TD mark against Green Bay.
