In last week's Marion Star Girls Best of the Week Performer Poll, River Valley volleyball's Morgan Nemeth, who went over 1,000 career assists, earned 275 of 940 votes (29 percent) to win it. Other nominees were Cardington cross country's Loey Hallabrin, Ridgedale volleyball's Hannah Cook, Northmor cross country's Kate Lehman, Pleasant golfer Dina Shah, Highland soccer's Izzy Arnett-Tomasek and North Union cross country's Kendal Music.
In the boys poll, River Valley soccer's Hudson Pollock, who collected two goals and two assists in a win over Loudonville, earned 196 of 268 votes (73 percent) to win it. Other nominees were Marion Harding golfer Jacob Beaschler, Mount Gilead cross country's Will Baker, Elgin golfer Isaac Dillon and North Union cross country's Tyler Huff.
