Manchester City host Southampton on Wednesday night with both sides looking to build momentum ahead of the season run-in.

With ten games to go, Pep Guardiola’s side are a handful of victories away from winning their fifth Premier League title. But first they must bounce back from their derby defeat to rivals Manchester United, and victory over the Saints would take them 14 points clear at the top of the table.

Southampton were falling towards the relegation zone in recent weeks but managed to gain their first win in ten games over Sheffield United last weekend.

Despite going from European hopefuls to relegation candidates, Ralph Hasenhuttl will be hoping to extend their seven-point lead over the drop zone with a surprise result at the league leaders.

Here’s everything you need to know about Wednesday night’s Premier League clash.

When is it?

The match will kick-off at 6pm GMT at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.

How can I watch it?

The game will be broadcasted on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League, with coverage starting at 5.30pm GMT.

Southampton have been dealt a blow as star striker Danny Ings is now expected to miss three weeks of the season after coming off against Sheffield United.

Ibrahima Diallo and Kyle Walker-Peters have late fitness tests after niggles, while Theo Walcott, Oriol Romeu, Will Smallbone and Michael Obafemi are expected to be out for the long-term.
