DALTON DEL DON: Can we just talk Isaiah Pacheco real quick?

MATT HARMON: Oh, yeah, sure, yeah.

DALTON DEL DON: I mean, I'm-- dude, sometimes hype, you've got to just read some. I'm buying this hype. I think he could easily separate himself and be the best Chiefs running back immediately. I mean, you look at the speed and the Andy Reid quotes. This is not the Darwin-- what was the other guy, Darwin Thompson? Was that the guy? This is not--

MATT HARMON: It was Darwin Thompson, who, by the way, I fell for. I fell for-- I fell for Darwin Thompson, so I'm a little--

DALTON DEL DON: This is not that. Draft Pacheco into your drafts. Ronald Jones, my guy, may not even make the team.

MATT HARMON: Aw. Yeah, I wanted to be in on Ronald Jones. But then this Pacheco hype popped up. And I was like, let me get-- let me get Ronald Jones out of here. A couple of things on Isaiah Pacheco. I really appreciated Kevin Clark tweeting out and reporting. I'm not usually a "this team loves their own player" guy. But my god, like, they love Isaiah Pacheco there in Kansas City.

I also appreciated Ian Hartitz from "Pro Football Focus." Did you see the graphic he edited with Pacheco, where--

DALTON DEL DON: Yeah, yeah, [INAUDIBLE] everything was-- yeah, yeah. LeBron James athleticism? Yeah.

MATT HARMON: Yeah, it was, like, the spoof of when they said that about frickin' David Montgomery in college. It was Isaiah Pacheco, running back Frankenstein, feet of Barry Sanders, vision of Walter Payton, strength of prime Jesus, athleticism of LeBron James. But that's pretty much, like, how the training camp season's been going for Pacheco, man. They seem very steamed on the guy, who I will again point people to JJ Zachariason's late-round draft guide to check that out because he was big on him. And that was [INAUDIBLE].

DALTON DEL DON: Oh, nice. Yeah. Yeah, remember when Kareem Hunt kind of came out of semi-nowhere and the Chiefs lead back immediately, even after fumbling rookie year week one. But, yeah, maybe it's a little bit over hyped. But I'm personally fallen for it. I'm in. I'm drafting him anywhere I can.

MATT HARMON: Yeah. I put him on my top 50 backs just to be like, hey, take the-- again, take the upside swing at that point in the draft. I'm sure he'll be a fun guy to track in this draft, which like I said, we should talk more in depth about next week when hopefully it's over. It's a-- god, it's a slow-ass slow draft, this draft. So we'll see if it ends next week.
