Magic exercise option on Vucevic

The Orlando Magic exercised their third-year option on center Nikola Vucevic, putting the second-year player under contract through the 2013-14 season.

Vucevic, who was acquired from the Philadelphia 76ers as part of a four-team deal on Aug. 10, averaged 5.5 points and 4.8 points in 51 games for the 76ers during his rookie season.

The Magic also waived forward Justin Harper, forward Chris Johnson and guard-forward Quentin Richardson to get their roster to 15 players.
