MAGGIE VOISIN: Maggie Voisin here. I'm from Whitefish, Montana. I'm 22 years old. Yeah, this will be my second Olympic game-- Or, I've been to two. This will hopefully be my third Olympic games-- sorry-- which is crazy to say.

Yeah, I went to my first Olympics where slopestyle skiing debuted in Sochi 2014 Games. I was 15 years old. I unfortunately fractured my ankle in training at that event and was not able to compete. And then went on to make the Olympic team in 2018 in Beijing where I ended up getting fourth place, really close to obviously podiuming.

And yeah, so I'm fired up for this Beijing Games. I'm super, super, excited about big air being in the Olympics. I know that in the past that there was some pushback with it just because maybe the audience might not really notice the difference between aerials and big air. But like I said, I think they kind of worked through that. And you know, now we have a second opportunity with slopestyle and big air. So that's also really awesome. So a second chance to maybe win another medal or that other opportunity.

And big air is just one jump, and you're trying to put down a couple of your best tricks. Whereas slopestyle is a course and I personally believe that there's a lot more that goes into it. You have to be more consistent. And you're trying to put a whole run together. What I'm trying to say is slope and big air go hand in hand. You're really just putting down your best trick instead of multiple of your best tricks in a row like you would in slopestyle if that makes sense.
