Mackinaw City's Bergstrom and Swanson, NMCA's Brabson make All-NLC basketball first team

BURT LAKE – Mackinaw City Comet players have been well represented on the All-Northern Lakes Conference boys basketball teams throughout the years.

This year was no different as four Comets earned spots on the All-NLC squad after strong seasons on the hardwood.

Leading the Comets were seniors Lucas Bergstrom and Trystan Swanson, two terrific frontcourt players for a solid Mackinaw City squad.

Representing Mackinaw City on the NLC second team was senior Sabastian Pierce. Despite suffering a season-ending foot injury, Pierce still had an efficient campaign when he was on the floor for the Comets. Rounding out Mackinaw City was sophomore Myran Thompson, who secured an honorable mention nod.
