LSU security guard protecting goalposts goes viral after fans stormed field

We saw another chaotic scene at the conclusion of an Alabama loss on Saturday night as LSU fans stormed the field at Tiger Stadium following a 32-31 overtime win against the No. 6 Crimson Tide in a game that will likely result in a date with Georgia in Atlanta for the SEC Championship.

But unlike Alabama’s loss to Tennessee, which resulted in an unparalleled scene in Knoxville, the goalposts at Tiger Stadium were not uprooted, paraded around Baton Rouge or dumped in the Mississippi River. That’s because if you had any plans for those goalposts, you had to go through this man.

Good luck.

The photo of the intimidating went viral on Saturday night as LSU’s upset win was the talk of college football. He couldn’t prevent all the pandemonium on the field, but he did his job and protected those goalposts.

We salute you, sir.
