LSU offers 2027 RB from Georgia

Brian Kelly is starting on recruiting for his 2027 class. These guys will be sophomores in 2024, but a lot of them made big plays as freshmen last fall. Kelly recently offered a player from Georgia who plays on both sides of the ball.

Amarri Irvin is a 5-foot-11, 188-pound athlete from Atlanta where he plays for Woodward Academy. I say that Irvin is an athlete because he plays running back and linebacker. On3 has him listed as a running back, though. The Woodward Academy War Eagles finished the 2023 season 12-3 with a loss to Thomas County Central in the 6A state championship game.

There are currently no Crystal Ball projections at this time for Irvin but Georgia is a 34% favorite to land him per On3.

Film Analysis: Irvin has the talent to get it done on both sides of the ball but his size indicates that he will be a running back at the next level.
