LSU baseball score vs. Georgia: Live updates from final SEC regular season series

No. 4 LSU baseball will try to finish off its final SEC series with a sweep, as the Tigers face Georgia for Game 3 of their three-game series against the Bulldogs on Saturday (5 p.m., SEC Network+).

The Tigers (42-12, 19-9 SEC) won Game 1 of the series on Thursday, 8-5 in 12 innings, and won Game 2 on Friday, 8-4.

Home runs from Hayden Travinski and Tommy White helped guide LSU's offense on Friday, as the Tigers had nine hits and drew five walks. Josh Pearson, who also hit the go-ahead home run in the 12th inning on Thursday, also had two hits and three RBIs.

On the mound, LSU got a productive start from Ty Floyd, who gave up just four earned runs and had seven strikeouts in seven innings pitched. After Riley Cooper surrendered a hit, Gavin Guidry went on to close out the final two innings by allowing just one hit and recording three strikeouts.

Georgia (28-26, 10-19) got swept by Missouri this past weekend on the road. The Bulldogs' midweek game against Western Carolina was canceled due to rain in Athens.
