Louisiana safety decommits from Michigan State football's 2021 class

Jah'von Grigsby, a three-star Louisiana safety in the 2021 recruiting class, decommitted from Michigan State football on Tuesday night.

He announced his decision on Twitter, saying: “(MSU) treated me and my family with the utmost respect with that being said I would like to 'reopen my commitment' Im open to all schools! Thank you."

Grigsby, who committed to MSU in September, attends Scotlandville Magnet in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound standout is rated as the No. 52 safety in the nation and No. 20 player in Louisiana, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Michigan State has 16 players committed in the 2021 class.
