Traveling in the footsteps of Robin, Garfunkel, Oates, Jesse Pinkman, and Chewbacca, Louis Oosthuizen is now golf’s most famous second banana, having completed a remarkable feat: with his T2 finish at Sunday’s PGA Championship, Oosthuizen now has notched a runner-up finish in each of golf’s four majors.

His most famous second-place showing came in 2012, when Bubba Watson beat him in a playoff at the Masters with an ungodly shot out of the trees. Valiant effort, and a beautiful singing voice besides. At least Oosthuizen already has one major in his bag; this’d be a lot harder to take if he hadn’t already secured that.
