Winners and Whiners: Take the Suns to beat Lakers in Friday's NBA game

It writes: "Devin Booker will probably miss his fourth straight game due to an injury, but I’m still backing the Suns even if Anthony Davis suits up for the Lakers. Phoenix blew a double-digit fourth-quarter lead in that five-point defeat at the Lakers in Week 1, playing without both Booker and Bradley Beal, and I’m expecting the Suns to get revenge in front of the home audience."

Stat Salt: Go with the Suns to cover against Lakers

Craig Forde writes: "This is the second meeting between these teams, with the Lakers taking the first back in last October, 100-95. The Suns were certainly slow to start their season, but seeming to be rounding into shape nicely if their last two games are any indication. The Lakers went 3-1 SU in the last four meetings, but Phoenix is both 7-3 SU and 7-3 ATS in the last ten meetings. Nurkic could enjoy another strong performance if Davis isn’t in his way down low. The Suns already average more rebounds than the Lakers and without their top rebounder in the lineup, Los Angeles will have problems on the glass. Booker remains out for Phoenix, which isn’t ideal, but they have shown that they can win without him and that their depth is a bit more than what the Lakers bring to the table. Los Angeles is 0-5 SU on the road this season and 1-4 ATS."
