Who did the Cleveland Browns take in the 2023 NFL Draft?

The Browns entered the 2023 draft with eight picks — none Thursday, two Friday and six Saturday. They ended up making seven of those picks (they traded away their final pick Saturday, a seventh-rounder at No. 229 overall). Here's the complete list of Browns draft choices:

Among their seven picks, the Browns chose four offensive players and three defensive players. Their positional breakdown:

Who drafted former Cincinnati Bearcats receivers Tre Tucker and Tyler Scott of CVCA and Norton, respectively?

Akron native Tre Tucker of CVCA heard his name called late Friday night. The Las Vegas Raiders drafted him in the third round, becoming the latest former Northeast Ohio high school standout to join the silver and black.

Tyler Scott of Norton was drafted early Saturday when the Chicago Bears took him in the fourth round. It's the second straight year the Bears drafted a former Northeast Ohio star after picking Canton McKinley's Dominique Robinson in 2022.

Tucker and Scott become the first players from their high schools to be selected in an NFL draft.

When is Browns 2023 rookie minicamp?

The eight draft picks from this weekend, plus additional undrafted free agents, will take part in a rookie minicamp May 12-14. It will be the first time the new Browns take the field together to work out.

When is the Browns 2023 veteran minicamp?

The Browns' mandatory veteran minicamp is June 6-8. They also have some OTAs in late May.

When will the 2023 Browns schedule be announced?

Expect the NFL to announce its 2023 schedule sometime around May 11-13.

The Browns know they will open the preseason in Canton by playing the New York Jets in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game on Thursday, Aug. 3. They will be part of the enshrinement festivities for the Class of 2023, which includes former Browns left tackle Joe Thomas.
