Look: How did Nashville Predators fans react to John Hynes' return? With plenty of boos

Fans at Bridgestone Arena fans brought some boos — and a "He sucks, too!" — for former Nashville Predators boss John Hynes on Thursday night.

Hynes was fired by the team six months ago to the day. He returned to the arena he called home for 3½ years for the first time, just three days and one game into his tenure as coach of the Minnesota Wild.

When Bridgestone PA announcer Paul McCann called out Hynes' name while reading the Wild's lineup, fans responded with an enthusiastic "He sucks, too!"

A few minutes before, Predators announcer Chris Mason used one of his keys to the game to welcome Hynes back, which was followed by a smattering of boos.

Hynes wasn't on the bench to hear either reception.
