Local track programs compete at North Laurel All-Comers

Apr. 17—All three local track and field programs made the short trip to London on Tuesday to take part in the North Laurel All-Comers meet.

On the boys' side, Southwestern finished fourth, Somerset finished ninth and Pulaski County placed 13th out of 17 teams.

In the boys' 100m, Pulaski's Kasen Brock finished eighth with a time of 12.21, with Somerset's Kris Hughes placing 10th with a time of 12.24. Other finishers included Pulaski's Tristan Weddle in 13th with a time of 12.41, Somerset's Cameron Mccaskill in 17th with a time of 12.47, Southwestern's Gage Anderson in 24th, Pulaski's Hayden Vaught in 25th, Southwestern's Riley Stinson in 27th, Pulaski's Eli Thayer in 35th, Pulaski's Bryson Mounce in 36th, Somerset's Grayson Gulock in 39th, Southwestern's Mason Wilson in 43rd, Southwestern's Seth Dial in 45th and Southwestern's Maddox Singleton in 50th.

Southwestern's Victor Colyer won the boys' 200m in a time of 23.41, with Pulaski's Jack Furr finishing ninth with a time of 24.66. Other finishers included Brock in 10th with a time of 24.74, Somerset's Kevin Meija in 14th with a time of 25.04, Tristan Weddle in 17th with a time of 25.18, Somerset's Jamal Tilley in 20th with a time of 25.43, Stinson in 24th, Vaught in 30th, Bryson Mounce in 34th, Thayer in 36th, Dial in 44th and Somerset's Jonas Blakeman in 53rd.

Colyer finished second in the boys' 400m with a time of 52.05, with Somerset's Eli Eastham placing 12th with a time of 56.82. Other finishers included Southwestern's Valor Pennington in 15th with a time of 58.19, Pulaski's Hunter Black in 20th with a time of 1:00.28 and Stinson in 29th.

In the boys' 800m, Southwestern's Zabrey Bortz finished third with a time of 2:11.58, with Meija finishing 19th with a time of 2:31.71. Other finishers included Somerset's Cameron Albright in 21st, Southwestern's Tyler Phelps in 22nd, Southwestern's Ben Coomer in 25th, Southwestern's Hayden Cummins in 27th and Pulaski's Abel Super in 33rd.

In the boys' 1600m, Southwestern's Hunter Troxtle finished in 12th place with a time of 5:23.95, while his teammate Cummins finished 15th with a time of 5:37.83. Other finishers included Albright in 17th with a time of 5:39.49, Somerset's John Lackey in 19th with a time of 5:49.08, Somerset's Noah Prather in 21st, Coomer in 25th, Somerset's Cooper Neikirk in 29th, Pulaski's Micah Super in 30th and Somerset's Cameron Underwood in 36th.

Southwestern's Drew Kelly finished fourth in the boys' 3200m with a time of 11:03.83, while his teammate Bortz finished right behind him in fifth with a time of 11:07.57. Other finishers included Hunter Troxtle in seventh with a time of 11:37.80, Lackey in 14th with a time of 12:54.43 and Micah Super in 15th with a time of 13:20.36.

In the boys' 110m hurdles, Phelps finished seventh with a time of 19.88, while Somerset's Tyson Brashears finished 10th with a time of 21.63 and Southwestern's Gunner Schlosser finished 11th with a time of 22.54.

In the boys' 300m hurdles, Brashears finished eighth with a time of 49.34 and Schlosser finished 13th with a time of 53.26.

In the boys' 4x100m relay, Somerset's team of Jackson Burgess, Tyson Absher, Mccaskill and Hughes finished seventh with a time of 49.16. Southwestern's team of Anderson, Wilson, Levi Taylor and Dashaun Sejour finished ninth with a time of 51.15.

In the boys' 4x200m relay, Somerset's team of Tilley, Mccaskill, Hughes and Gulock finished fifth with a time of 1:37.04. Southwestern's team of Anderson, Dial, Schlosser and Sejour finished 10th with a time of 1:57.19.

In the boys' 4x400m relay, Southwestern's team of Colyer, Coomer, Pennington and Kameron Cox finished sixth with a time of 3:50.52. Somerset's team of Burgess, Meija, Eastham and Bryson Stone finished ninth with a time of 3:59.31.

In the boys' 4x800m relay, Southwestern's team of Bortz, Kelly, Coomer and Michael Seiber finished third with a time of 9:05.86. Somerset's team of Stone, Meija, Eastham and Albright finished eighth with a time of 10:10.45. Pulaski's team of Black, Micah Super, Abel Super and Landon Stevens finished 12th with a time of 10:38.56.

In the boys' high jump, Pennington finished third with a height of 5-08.00. Other finishers included Pulaski's Cohen Finley in fourth, Stone in fifth and Levi Taylor in sixth.

In the boys' long jump, Finley placed sixth with a distance of 17-00.50. Other finishers included Jackson Burgess in eighth, Brashears in ninth, Furr in 18th, Levi Taylor in 25th and Dial in 33rd.

Levi Taylor won the boys' triple jump with a distance of 38-00.25. Other finishers included Jackson Burgess in second, Somerset's Corban Cimala in 12th and Pennington in 18th.

In the boys' pole vault, Michael Seiber finished fifth with a height of 9-00.00. Other finishers included Blakeman in sixth, Underwood in seventh, Hunter Troxtle in 13th and Bryce Bateman in 14th.

Nico Pascarella won the boys' discus with a distance of 124-06.00. Other finishers included Pulaski's Brayan Ramirez in ninth, Somerset's Braxton Wheeler in 17th, Somerset's Zach Koger in 21st, Southwestern's Caiden Gensel in 29th and Somerset's Sam Miller in 37th.

In the boys' shot put, Koger finished 20th with a distance of 31-07.00.

On the girls' side, Pulaski finished third, Southwestern finished sixth and Somerset finished seventh out of 16 teams.

In the girls' 100m, Pulaski's Emma Coomer finished second with a time of 13.33, while Somerset's Emma Midden placed third with a time of 13.42. Other finishers included Pulaski's Brooklynn Sandlin in fifth with a time of 13.60, Pulaski's Kenzie Cupp in sixth with a time of 13.68, Somerset's Hannaha Boyer in eighth with a time of 13.90, Southwestern's Shelby Lockard in 10th with a time of 14.03, Pulaski's Abbee Coomer in 11th with a time of 14.08, Southwestern's Kya Rowlands in 25th, Somerset's Adyson Wharf in 35th, Southwestern's A.J. Perrin in 39th, Somerset's Garrah Vanover in 40th and Southwestern's Katie Lyons in 41st.

Coomer finished fourth in the girls' 200m with a time of 27.36, with Midden finishing sixth with a time of 28.10. Other finishers included Pulaski's Maliyah Swinney in seventh with a time of 28.58, Sandlin in ninth with a time of 28.89, Pulaski's Aubrey Richardson in 15th with a time of 30.51, Southwestern's Ansley Mounce in 19th with a time of 30.98, Southwestern's Emma Sears in 25th, Southwestern's Kaitlyn Williams in 30th, Wharf in 39th, Somerset's Macie Parker in 40th and Somerset's Katie Dye in 43rd.

In the girls' 400m, Southwestern's Olivia Huff placed second with a time of 1:03.02, with her teammate Lockard finishing sixth with a time of 1:05.95. Other finishers included Somerset's Isabella Mckenzie in eighth with a time of 1:07.22, Pulaski's Alyssa Salyer in 10th with a time of 1:08.22, Ansley Mounce in 12th with a time of 1:10.36, Sears in 13th with a time of 1:11.55, Pulaski's Simi McAlpin in 23rd and Somerset's Hope Hoffman in 24th.

Huff again placed second in the girls' 800m with a time of 2:29.62, while her teammate Shaye Seiber finished third with a time of 2:31.91. Other finishers included Pulaski's Addison Cundiff in 10th with a time of 2:46.74, Pulaski's Hannah Murray in 13th with a time of 2:50.37, Southwestern's Madeline Peterson in 16th with a time of 2:56.65 and Pulaski's Hailey Slaven in 29th.

Shaye Seiber won the girls' 1600m with a time of 5:37.46, with Pulaski's Maggie Bertram finishing second with a time of 5:42.76. Other finishers included Murray in ninth with a time of 6:25.95 and Slaven in 20th with a time of 8:19.25.

In the girls' 3200m, Rowlands finished ninth with a time of 15:18.52, with her teammate Brylee Troxtle finishing 10th with a time of 15:39.39.

In the girls' 100m hurdles, Ansley Mounce finished ninth with a time of 20.54. Other finishers included Somerset's Jaycee Cothron in 11th with a time of 20.87 and Rowlands in 15th with a time of 23.38.

In the girls' 300m hurdles, Lockard finished fifth with a time of 54.98. Other finishers included Cothron in eighth with a time of 56.95 and Rowlands in 13th with a time of 1:05.41.

Pulaski's team of Abbee Coomer, Emma Coomer, Cupp and Sandlin won the girls' 4x100m relay with a time of 51.63. Somerset's team of Boyer, Mckenzie, Midden and Grace Burgess finished second with a time of 53.10. Southwestern's team of Perrin, Lyons, Reagan Butt and Kaylee Creek finished ninth with a time of 1:05.05.

In the girls' 4x200m relay, Somerset's team of Boyer, Mckenzie, Midden and Maliyah Childrey finished second with a time of 1:53.89. Pulaski's team of Cupp, Sandlin, Richardson and Emma Coomer finished third with a time of 1:54.70. Southwestern's team of Williams, Sears, Ellie Weddle and Clare Marie Ramsey finished ninth with a time of 2:04.23.

In the girls' 4x400m relay, Southwestern's team of Ramsey, Huff, Ansley Mounce and Shaye Seiber finished second with a time of 4:21.65. Somerset's team of Boyer, Childrey, Cothron and Mckenzie finished sixth with a time of 4:46.73.

Southwestern's team of Huff, Madeline Peterson, Lockard and Shaye Seiber won the girls' 4x800m relay with a time of 10:33.84.

In the girls' high jump, Murray finished fifth with a height of 4-06.00. Other finishers included Ramsey in a tie for seventh.

In the girls' long jump, Grace Burgess finished second with a distance of 15-04.75. Other finishers included Swinney in third, Madeline Peterson in 13th, Southwestern's Sia Taylor in 15th, Pulaski's Laney Bramble in 28th and Brylee Troxtle in 34th.

Grace Burgess won the girls' triple jump with a distance of 33-05.25. Other finishers included Swinney in fourth and Cupp in seventh.

In the girls' pole vault, Perrin finished fifth with a height of 7-00.00 and Pulaski's Lily Hamilton finished in a tie for seventh.

Pulaski's Lexi Lawless won the girls' discus with a distance of 98-10.00. Other finishers included Southwestern's Chloe Brotherton in fifth, Southwestern's Grace Shoopman in 17th, Pulaski's Kendall Hodge in a tie for 26th with Southwestern's Claire Peterson and Sia Taylor in 29th.

Lawless also won the girls' shot put with a distance of 35-05.00. Other finishers included Shoopman in 12th, Brotherton in 14th, Claire Peterson in 17th, Sia Taylor in 21st and Hodge in 32nd.

All three teams will next compete in the Lake Cumberland Classic on Saturday hosted by Somerset High School.
