Kansas City Chiefs defensive back L'Jarius Sneed left Sunday's AFC championship rematch against the Cincinnati Bengals at Arrowhead Stadium during the first quarter with a head injury.

Sneed slowly got up and walked off the field after he was involved in a tackle of Bengals running back Samaje Perine. He was evaluated in the blue medical tent before going to the locker room.

The Chiefs announced Sneed was being evaluated for a concussion. Late in the second quarter, they ruled Chase out.

Sneed, in his third season with the Chiefs, started all 17 of Kansas City's regular-season games and two playoff games this season.
